Vibeo James

Below are several projects I’ve worked on with a group of friends where I took on a core role in development and production, helping with design, QA, and, of course, the audio, including implementation, engineering, and design.

Gooing Up! (Music, Sound Design, Development)

A Foddian style platformer submitted to the Foddian Jam in 2024 and released on steam in March 2025. My first steam release with the Vibeo James team, which was an exciting milestone for us. I had a great time coming up with the different sounds for the unique characters.

Death Chef (Sound Design & Dev)

A short, action rogue-like, focused around some goofy world-building and build-crafting. Pick a favored kitchen article, mow down devils in procedurally generated rooms, and grab power ups to enhance your build on your way to becoming a true Death Chef*

*(yes, this is a Soul Eater reference)

Witchwinder (Music & Sound Design)

A short, action-puzzler originally submitted to the Historically Accurate Game Jam 5. With art by Austin Hayes (instagram: a.hayes.art | website: ahayes.art), Programming by myself, Grayson Chao, and Brad Armstrong.

OSTs

Soul’s Symphony

An indie, mobile, gacha game utilizing rhythm-based mechanics and a rich, character-driven story. Produced by Anikii Entertainment. Development has ceased, but I had so much fun with the music and came up with a variety of fun tracks.

Love Mythos: Sanctuary Island

An inclusive dating simulator that sees you take on the role of a land-locked selkie surrounded by other unfortunate, mythological creatures. This was really early days for me. It’s a kickstarted game that never made it to the finish line, although development is still ongoing. The music featured is simple and chill, but features a variety of fun sounds and instruments. Check out the Prequel NaNoReNo game tracks for a very different vibe where I leaned a bit more into my constant inspiration from Final Fantasy Tactics.
